name Heaven's Gate Goat Ranch comes from us wanting to honor the one who has made this ranch possible - the Lord, our God.
We like to think that all of the goats here are His and that we are taking care of them for Him.
Since we believe this
is His ranch, we are determined to represent our goats accurately and to be fair and honest to you - the purchaser. So come
in, look around, and contact us anytime. We are always ready to talk "goats" especially "Kiko Goats."
When purchasing yourKiko Goats from any breeder, insure that you are getting percentage you want. A Purebred Kiko does not mean that the
animal is 100% Kiko. The only 100% Kiko goat is a 100% New Zealand Kiko.
All of our herd sires and does (from 50% to 100%)
are DNA-Sire Verified. This makes it so that, if requested, any animal that has been sired by our herd sires can be "Parent
Verified" by DNA.
We are working to improve the muscling of the Kiko goats born here - the original New Zealand Kiko's had wide
chests and rear ends. That is the goat we are striving for - big, meaty Kiko's.
